Our History

Born From a Need for Better Access to Technology

Tayzma Technologies was founded by Tayo Akinyeke, a Nigerian-born technology professional whose experiences in Nigeria shaped his understanding of the challenges facing communities, businesses, and public institutions across Africa. After witnessing the impact of insecurity and public-safety challenges and engaging with professionals familiar with the realities faced by government and security organizations on the ground, he recognized a recurring problem: organizations responsible for addressing complex challenges do not always have access to the technology, software, digital infrastructure, and technical expertise available in more developed technology markets.

At the same time, businesses and organizations across the continent continue to face gaps in digital platforms, modern software, cybersecurity, automation, and the technology needed to communicate effectively, operate efficiently, and reach the people they serve. Tayzma Technologies grew from the belief that these gaps can be addressed by combining African market understanding with access to global technology and expertise.

Today, Tayzma is a U.S.-based, Africa-focused technology company supported by professionals with strong connections to Africa and experience working within Western technology and business environments. This combination helps us understand local challenges while navigating the technical, commercial, vendor, and regulatory expectations associated with international technology.

For government and public-sector requirements, our objective is to help qualified organizations identify and responsibly procure technology that can support public safety, institutional capability, and operational effectiveness. For businesses and private organizations, we provide the software, AI, cybersecurity, digital platforms, and technology expertise needed to solve complex problems and create new opportunities.

As Tayzma grows, the principle behind the company remains the same: understand the problem first, identify the right technology, and deliver it responsibly.
